Jester Dane is a natural leader bringing The Blues Brother over. Jester Dane should use his good draw to lead this big field at a genuine pace. MOONLIGHT SPY was responsible for a huge win over the mile at Coonamble last start, making a mid-race dash to join the leading division then racing away in the straight to get home by a wide margin. Form had been sound leading up to that win so it was no fluke. Steps up a grade now but continues to improve. RUSH OF BLOOD did a bit wrong in the run but was still too good over this course and distance last time out. Very fit now and enjoys a lovely trail just behind the speed from gate two. DESTINY'S GENERAL found the 1255m at Ballina too short when resuming last start, but he kept finding something in the run home to be beaten under 2L. Has good second up stats and this trip is more his cup of tea. MISHANI ISTANA was very good last start and cannot be overlooked despite coming back in distance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Moonlight Spy to win.
