Speed to come from Turn Me Loose and Ecuador. Small field but should get a true tempo with Turn Me Loose crossing Ecuador who should make him earn it and Attention has the blinkers on from the outside alley and is likely to look for a spot in the first couple. BLACK HEART BART springboarded off his first up run when returning to the Caulfield 1400m last time and now that he is back to his peak he's hard to oppose. Race sets up nicely for him and we know that it takes a top class performance to knock him off at his pet track and trip. TURN ME LOOSE looks the one most capable. Big winner of this race last year and he showed himself back in something like that form when second to Black Heart Bart in the Orr. No easy task turning the tables but he can make himself very hard to get past. Have to think that PALENTINO will be seen to best effect when he gets back to the mile but he caught the eye late on in the Orr and should continue to race himself into top form. Ecuador also ran well there but again is looking like a step up in trip would suit him now. SUGGESTED PLAY: Black Heart Bart straight out.
