GOING: S(6)

Ableworks 2yo Mdn Plate 1200m

Track: SOFT 6   Rain   Rail: True Entire Circuit. (Pent: 5.76).

Lot of these on debut and one of those may well take up the lead. A tricky six furlong race to map with no obvious leader engaged. The promising colt SNITZEPEG from the Weir stable looks the clear top pick on what we have seen. Was ridden more positively last start and responded by hanging on for 2nd over this distance at Echuca at just his second racetrack appearance. Will race on the speed again and prove tough to catch. MR SO AND SO was sent out favourite on debut over 1050m at Morphettville but his hopes were dashed at the start when he began poorly. Made up a little ground in the run home so getting to this trip now looks suitable. Ciaron Maher's All Too Hard debutant VILLERMONT is one to watch. No trial form to assist but the stable know how to produce a first up winner. The dam has thrown 3/3 winners so should have above average ability. ARGENTINIAN GOLD is another first starter to watch carefully for betting support. SUGGESTED PLAY: Play multiples around Snitzpeg, Mr So And So and Villermont.
