No clear leader on paper so Sathern may be the one to kick up on the rail. BLAINE should be ready to peak third up and went close last time when only beaten 0.4L at Tamworth. Placed at both previous second up runs and at seven of 12 starts overall so this looks the right race for him. The recent placegetters are the ones to focus on in this maiden. BLAINE improved sharply from first to second run from a spell. He will be sitting midfield and looking to run on. SATHERN missed by a nose last week. He sat on the pace and can do that again here. He needs to win now. SHE'S SHARP AS was slow out but worked home OK on debut. She will be better for the added furlong. CROWN MAHARANI weakened the last bit last time. He is back in journey here. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Blaine to break through third up.
