Not much form to go off here with plenty of these stepping out on debut. American Genius and Annanicolesnitz will go forward although the pace does not look breakneck. AMERICAN GENIUS for Lindsay Park resumes from a four month spell after a promising maiden campaign. Placed at Listed level on debut then finished 3rd at his next two starts in good quality races before being turned out. Big trial winner recently so looks ready to go. BANISH resumed from a brief spell last start over this distance at Caulfield and ran an even race to clock in 3rd. Will be better for the run and from gate two should position nicely just in behind the speed. ANNANICOLESNITZ was keen on debut and tired in the final stages as a result to miss a place. Blinkers come off today and she steps up slightly in distance so look for a bolder performance. JOHN'S REVENGE has been a little disappointing but can lift today with winkers going on. SUGGESTED PLAY: American Genius straight out.
