STORMY VISTA (3) finished third last start, beaten 19 metres at this track over 2600m. Talented and has plenty of upside. Has the benefit of a good draw. This looks a sterner test than last time but he is capable of a big performance. BEVERLEY COURTNEY (7) turned in a much better run at her latest appearance when she scored by 5.5 metres over 2600m at Phar Lap Raceway. Must overcome a very wide draw. Won't find this any harder and she can make it consecutive wins. MELTON MAGNATE (5) is close to a win after two successive placings, the latest a third over 1700m at Ashburton Raceway. Great chance to break through. APATCHOFGOLD (6) is in the mix after turning in a better effort last start to finish second at this track over 2600m.
