WAMBOYNE MACHETE (6) started on the back row and worked but fought on to go under by only 2.4m last week. His other three starts this time in had netted two Newcastle wins and a fourth at Listed level. Can return to winning form. TIME TO DANCE (2) has overcome some bad luck to place in his two outings at this circuit and distance since a spell, locking wheels fresh before he was held up in last week's second. Draws well again so could peak and win. FOLLOW THE MONEY (5) will find this easier than the Listed race he tackled when resuming at Menangle. Won his only attempt at this circuit and distance and is proven second-up so expecting a much better result. BETTINE (9) was a beaten favourite last week but came from this barrier when winning easily here last month so is capable of much better.
