LAUZELLE (5) is a three-year-old gelding from the Stephen Williams stable on debut. Was not far away in a recent trial. Any push in betting will add to the confidence. NEIL WILLIAM (9) recorded another strong performance last start when he battled on bravely to finish second over 2100m at Phar Lap Racecourse, adding to a good third on debut at Addington the run prior. Has to contend with a very wide draw but rates a primary contender based on those two efforts. TREC MAJESTIC (8) was beaten 18 metres on debut last start over 2600m at Rangiora. Capable of a lot more this time around. CHOCOLATE ANGUS (2) was beaten 35 metres on debut last start over 2100m at Phar Lap Racecourse. Will have taken great benefit from that race day experience and can earn some minor money.
