LOVEABLE ROGUE (3) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when fourth at Alexandra Park. Put together a string of placings prior so has looked close to a win for a while. Has the benefit of a good draw so this could be his chance to break through. SILENT THEORY (4) is starting to put it together having placed in the last two outings at Manawatu, one from this barrier and the other from a wider draw. Has winning claims. TUAREG (2) is a long-time maiden but came from a much wider barrier at Alexandra Park last time so is better served by this draw. RUN BLAZE RUN (6) is progressing nicely and must be considered after he finished runner-up in two of his last three starts at Manawatu.
