NEED FOUR SPEED (6) was far from disgraced when fifth from the widest barrier last start at Menangle. He'll enjoy the return to this circuit having won over this distance the last time he raced here. Top chance. SLYX (5) produced a strong performance last time when he drew on the second line and worked but battled on bravely to just miss out by a nose at this circuit and distance. Returns to the front line and could go one better. HOMEBOUND (9) has produced some good efforts since winning here last month including a close second from this barrier two back. JANELLE MAY (10) must be considered after placing from this row here last start.
