Scored a big maiden win before a spell and can pick up where he left off. BILLINGS (14) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on October 12, finishing sixth and beaten 4.5 lengths over 2400m at Tokyo. Has won fresh and returns with leading rider aboard. Looks a winning chance. LOVE AND LIKE (12) turned in a fair race when resuming then improved second up to finish fourth over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. The extra ground looks likely to suit. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Will be in this for a long way. MARCELL TESORO (13) finished fourth last time out over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt, beaten 3.5 lengths. Worth plenty of thought.
