Not much early pressure but Elegant Man, Fashionable Lady and Bannerlu can take up forward spots. PALLADIUM (7) was good here on debut then a close-up fifth last time. Returns home and looks well placed out in journey. Should go close. Very wary of the well bred first starter MAKETIME (6). Gelding by Maurice and a half to dual Group 1 winner Magic Time. Well educated including a Flemington jump-out win most recently. Blinkers on and expected to measure up. FASHIONABLE LADY (12) did improve second outing when stretched to six furlongs and looks an improver over more ground. Blinkers added and can improve sharply. PICK A SYMPHONY (3) is a former NSW galloper runner-up last two and now switches yards. Drawn to finish on strongly. LEFT ON READ (2) got home hard here last time and looks tough to stop again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with the local Palladium.
