Expecting Black Adam to bounce to the front and lead from the low draw. ALTERNATE (5) looks the one to beat if repeats the latest effort in tougher grade at Caulfield when not far from the winner. This far easier and will be prominent while many of the main chances are poorly drawn. Expected to go close. MORDIALLOC BEACH (12) has been thereabouts lately, the latest a fourth over 1200m. Back to 1400m and looks a leading player on best. YAM (1) is also nearing a win and wasn't far away last time when placed in a similar race. One of the main hopes. THREE MUSKETEERS (4) was ridden quietly from a good draw last start before closing nicely to get up for fourth over 1203m at Kyneton. Solid top-three prospects. BRITISH POET (2) has been a few lengths away last couple. No easier here and will need some luck from the draw but best figures stack up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Alternate.
