Expecting a strong gallop with Glorious Aspen and Nekoni Kotatsu taking up the running over Crane Perdita. KUROMATSU MITCHI (11) was in a different class last time with a dominant all-the-way win by 3 lengths at this track over 1300m. One of the top chances again. NEKONI KOTATSU (4) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 1300m at this track, finishing fourth and beaten 0.8 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Steps up a level but she is good enough to take this out. GLORIOUS ASPEN (2) turned in a modest performance when fifth last time out over 1400m at this track, beaten 9 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. That followed a win at Morioka Dirt at the previous outing. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot make amends. CRANE PERDITA (7) was beaten 2.75 lengths into fifth in a 1300m contest at this track at her latest appearance. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
