Expecting Hiruno Galicia to lead Tomoe Jo at just a moderate tempo. CROSS RATE (5) resumes from a spell of three-and-a-half months and is having his first outing under new trainer Hirohiro Moriyama. Finished tenth at Kyoto over 1400m at the opening run last time in work. Plenty to like about his prospects. COSTA VERDE (4) missed the placings on debut two runs back then didn't feature last start when 14 lengths away in 15th over 2000m at Sapporo. Tackling a more suitable race this time so she is likely to play a big role. HIRUNO GALICIA (3) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 2000m at Sapporo, beaten 10 lengths into 12th after being in the firing line on the bend. Has the class to produce a better result. TOMOE JO (7) has switched yards since finishing 12th a month ago over 1600m at Hanshin. Better placed here.
