CAL DAWN (7) is back from a three-and-a-half months spell and he does run well first-up, including a win over 1500m at this track at the start of last prep. Sure to make his presence felt. COMBAT ANGE (11) finished out of the money two starts back then she settled well back and was beaten 10 lengths when 11th over 1400m at this track three weeks ago. Likely improver with strong prospects. JO LIBERICA (3) is back from a break of seven months. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when ninth over 1400m at this track. One to consider.
