Strong early pace with Four Mile Lane and Specialtie driving across from their wide draws. SPECIALTIE (4) did not kick on as favourite last time out on this track after making all the early running and was fairly weak in the run to the line that day. He is back up to a mile and has enough pace to cross and find the front should his hoop choose to do that. He is good enough to bounce back into the money immediately. Follow your money. FOUR MILE LANE (2) showed a lot of improvement from his fresh-up run here by finishing second at Cairns last start when trying to lead all the way. He will be peaking third up and slides down a class this time so with some luck from a wide gate, he should be hard to beat. EMATHION (9) should be at his peak fitness now and an improved showing can be expected. Each-way. FROM THIS MOMENT (8) steps up to her preferred distance this time. Has a decent second up record.
