Reasonable tempo with Hommamon probably leading but a few others should keep her honest. TALUS (1) could only manage fourth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Looks well placed so expect another big run. SPLENDIDE (8) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished 2.25 lengths from the winner in third over 1400m at this track. Worth noting Osamu Shimohara goes aboard. Looks well placed so expect another big run. HOMMAMON (3) finished second at Himeji at her most recent appearance on February 6. Definite top-three chance. SUOOSHIMA (2) pushed forward from a wide draw when resuming last start and found a position close to the lead before sticking on well to finish second here. In the right race and is one of the big hopes.
