Expecting Apple Cider to lead setting a genuine tempo. TYSON'S DREAM (1) found Randwick too tough three-back but the form around that is solid for this contest. Expect him to see the mile right out this time around. A gun hoop is reunited and that's a decent push for his chances. Stablemate SOCIAL OUTCAST (2) improved again belting a CL1 field at Coonabaraban by 4L over this distance on a heavy track. Has the handy 2kg claim and can use the inside gate. Peaks and wet or dry is a chance to go on. CHARGE BY THE HOUR (9) won a provincial Maiden and then disappointed at Armidale in a CL2 (vet clear). Looks suited down in the weights and a better effort is likely. APPLE CIDER (8) has switched from a Gold Coast yard on a 10-day return.
