No noted leader so it looks a very modest tempo. NIHONPIRO PAX (8) finished out of the money when fifth over 1400m at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago. Has her share of talent and finds a suitable race. FORTESA (7) improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. MINATO (1) got well back over 1600m at this track last time and never threatened, eventually finishing eighth. Finds a more suitable contest and can take this out. EARTH J SONTE (4) was safely held when fifth last time out over 1600m here after a win at this track at the previous outing. One of the main hopes.
