Nice run on debut then failed to threaten when eighth over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt at the last outing prior to a spell. Has plenty going for him and should be right in this. MENELAUS (2) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on January 20 finishing fourth over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Comes here with definite claims. NOBUNO CAT (1) is yet to find the frame in two runs since resuming from a spell, the latest when fourth over 1400m here. Will strip fitter and could be tough to beat. LUCETTA (6) has not been sighted since she finished eighth over 1600m at Tokyo on February 4. Has claims.
