Has a high cruising speed. Expecting a bold showing. IDOL (9) ran below expectations last time at Fukushima Dirt, finishing 13th and beaten 8 lengths starting at $2.40. Likely improver with strong prospects. PEREGRINE (14) has not won for a long while. Last raced on December 7 when beaten 0.9 lengths into fourth at Hanshin Dirt over 1200m. Doesn’t need to improve that much. Top chance despite the tricky draw.
