Expecting Aye Aye Skipper to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course.
THIS ONE TIME (6) returned with a strong effort over this distance two back at Quirindi then struggled in an 1100m Rosehill Highway subsequently. Won a similar race to this when third-up at Dubbo last prep. Just needs luck from a sticky draw to be right in the finish. ROCK 'N' REIGN (5) did a good job to be beaten just over two lengths in a Class 3 over today's journey at Scone last time out. Perfectly drawn and will appreciate the drop in grade today. Serious contender at his pet distance. LILY BOBTAIL (12) has been in the money at all three runs this prep in Class 1 races, two at this trip. Meets some smarter types this time but she races well here and is a genuine chance. Veteran NIKODY'S DIEGO (15) doesn't win too often these days but can fill a top four spot with the help of the inside gate. AYE AYE SKIPPER (3) is fitter for two runs back from a spell and is worth including in exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: This One Time to win with a saver on Rock 'N' Reign.
