LOGICAL STAFFING SOLUTIONS PACE 2240m

Track: GOOD

SMOKEN ACE (7) was impressive last week when he came from a similar barrier and raced parked before setting a new track record in a 7.6m win at Geelong. Finds another suitable assignment so can strike again. CALEXICO (6) has been freshened since performing well in the Vicbred Super Series, winning a heat at this circuit and distance before coming from one spot wider than this when beaten 3.2m in the final. That form reads well for this. SWEETNIKKILOU (9) chased a smart one when runner up here last week. Draws on the back row but came from there to place in the Vicbred final prior. Yet to miss a place this time in and is suited dropping to a distance where her record is sound. TWISTING BY (1) deserves respect having come from wider to win here three back and placing in both outings since. SWEETPASSION (2) drew wider in a resuming second. Strikes at 50 per cent when second-up so should strip fitter.

Two back was beaten by 7 m finishing third behind Petracca at Geelong over 2100m in a NR up to 95 on November 21 at $5.50. Then a handy effort when beaten by 3.5 m finishing second after being driven well back, behind Rakajed at this track over 1720m in a NR 75 to 88 on November 29 at $4.80. Drawn to advantage and among the each way chances.

Been racing well and showed plenty of improvement following November 9 run. Last start posted a big 3.5 m win (Fr6) at this track (2:42.40) beating Kartiare in 0W/15 0K stake on December 6 at $4.40. This race will be harder than that win. Not keen.
