GOING:

APG TROT 1720m

Track: GOOD

SIX NATIONS (7) put the writing on the wall when runner-up to a handy one two back before delivering last time, coming from the back row to score by 2.6m. That gave him two wins and two placings in four attempts at this circuit and distance. Draws wide but will be at peak fitness now. ALRIGHTY (10) has won two of three starts at this venue since a spell, last time coming from this same barrier and racing up to four wide before digging deep. Drops to a distance where his strike rate stands at 50 per cent. Big chance with even luck. KYVALLEY MAVEN (6) looks close to a win after three successive seconds including the Vicbred Super Series 4EG Final when he came from this barrier and a nose defeat last time. Could break through. JILLIBY DREAMLOVER (5) won a Vicbred heat when fresh and placed in both subsequent rounds including a last-start third in the G1 final here. Must respect off that.
