ZENARIO (3) was dominant in his heat at this circuit and distance last time out, leading to cruise home by 14m. Was very good in the Vicbred Super Series prior, winning a heat and finishing less than 2m away when fourth in the Group 1 final. That is strong form for this and he has the speed to take advantage of the good draw. Looks very hard to stop. ALWAYS DANCING (1) made it two wins from three starts this time in when coming from wider to win his heat. That took his record here to six from nine and he draws to enjoy the favours. CAPTAIN FEARLESS (9) scored a second-up win here two back before getting within 2m of Always Dancing last time. Race fit and while drawn on the back row he can be competitive. IMPOSTER BOY (4) has ground to make up on Zenario through the last-start second but is a first-four hope from a good draw.
