Plenty of early pressure from Smile Now, Smoke Flavor and Best Of Kelly battling for the lead over Pawa Poke Wing. SMOKE FLAVOR (7) was quickly into stride over 1400m at this track when resuming last time and defied all challengers to score by 2.5 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. SMILE NOW (1) is a talented type who returned from a break last start and made it two wins from as many starts, scoring by half a length over 1200m at Funabashi. Kept fresh for this assignment and expected to measure up again. PAWA POKE WING (6) started at $4.90 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 3.5 lengths at Kawasaki over 1500m after being prominent at the corner. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. BEST OF KELLY (3) lines up on the back of a 5 length fourth over 1400m at this track. Has a win and a placing from three starts at this track and distance. Credentials hard to fault.
