Pink Marvel should spear straight to the front of the small field. PINK LADY (2) led throughout last start to score an effortless 5 lengths win over 820m at this track. Tomohiro Yoshimura who has two wins when partnering stays on. Sure to play a big role. A SHIN NOCTURNE (3) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished seventh when fresh from a spell two starts back at Himeji then improved and scored over 1230m at this track a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 1.5 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Facing a tougher assignment but she is up to the task. WOODBINE (6) turned in a modest performance last time out over 1230m at this track. That followed a win at Himeji at the previous outing. This doesn't look as hard so she is a leading contender. SUN FOUNTAIN (1) proved too strong two runs ago but was less impressive last time out. Worth another chance.
