MAGICAL MOTION (3) has strung together a couple of wins at this circuit, the latest on April 3 over 1400m when he scored by a neck. Finds a suitable race and can add to the picket fence. VIERGE (6) started at $1.50 last time on the back of a win here two starts ago but was below her best, finishing eighth over 1400m at this track. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and two minor placings. Worth noting Shoma Kato goes aboard. Best figures measure up nicely and can bounce back. WALTZ FOR DEBBY (1) scored at this track last time out with 3 lengths in reserve at the end of 1400m. Has a decent record at this track with one win and five minor placings. Winning rider Kunihisa Hirase stays aboard. Has claims on his best figures. CENTURY HERO (10) ran below expectations last start, finishing fifth here over 1400m. Worth another chance.
