A few on-pacers lining up so it should be keenly contested. CONCERTO (3) fought hard for her last victory over this distance on the turf when sent out as the favourite. She has won once and finished second twice from five starts on this course. With Richard Fourie in the saddle can go back-to-back. RAISING QUINN (2) raced from a handy position over 1600m last time, but found one too good on the day. She is ideally suited to this course and with luck in the running should be fighting out the finish. DREAM SCAPE (4) was an easy winner of her last start over 1200m on the turf when sent out at long odds. She raced from just off the pace, quickened up well and won with plenty left in the tank. Rates well as a leading chance. IDABELLE (5) resumes from a spell and races on the synthetic track for the first time. Fresh-up last prep finished third of eight at Turffontein Inside over 1600m. Has solid place claims.
