Led and fought on for a string of placings from lower draws earlier in the campaign so has the speed to take advantage of the inside barrier. EDWARD JAY (7) did a good job to finish second here two starts ago then recorded a comfortable win last time out, coming from the back line and scoring by almost 10 metres at this circuit and distance. Must overcome a very wide draw but he is racing well. LITTLELIONELJAMES (6) is drawn deeper than last start but did a good job there, posting a win by 4.7 metres at this circuit and distance. TAKE A CHANCE (5) is a player again after coming from a similar draw for a last-start win by 1.4 metres at this venue.
