GOING:

PLOVER SECURITY SERVICES TROT 1710m

Track: GOOD   Clouds (Max: 20)

CHAMPAGNES (7) kept her manners in check and did a good job for third last start at Charlton. May need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position but won the last time she attempted this sort of grade last month at Maryborough. CHRISTMAS BABE (8) has been solid since winning last month at Bendigo. Draws on the back row so may not get the chance to use her early speed but she has won all three attempts at this circuit and distance. SONNYBOY (9) draws on the second line but has been producing some good efforts including a respectable second at his most recent appearance at Melton and win three back at Bendigo. TENSION SEEKER (1) has been coming from wider or second row barriers of late so can improve from the ace draw.
