MERLE MARY (9) finished fifth last start at Alexandra Park but was very competitive and not far from the placegetters. That continued her consistent form having put together a string of top-four finishes prior. With even luck from the back row she could break through. HES NOT THAT INTO U (6) made a nice return at his latest appearance a couple of days ago, finishing third at this circuit and distance. Draws wider but should be better for that hitout. BLINX (3) is looming as a threat after a good first effort for the new yard, finishing third at this circuit and distance on Tuesday. Tougher draw for VERA GRACE (13) but she went close on Tuesday and has upside.
