Draws for a trail and if she gets the gaps she could break through. RED SAPPHIRE (8) was drawn a little wide when seventh at Menangle last start. Recorded a series of top-four finishes prior including a win here. Her strike rate is impressive. Big chance. MAURLEN BOY (3) made an encouraging return as runner-up at Newcastle two weeks ago, beaten 1.8m. Draws well so can progress. PROMISING (9) draws on the back row but owns a good record here so should enjoy the drop from city racing.
