DEAL MAKER (1) was comfortably accounted for when seventh last start over 1000m at Turffontein Standside, beaten 3 lengths after being in contention on the corner. That followed a good first-up win at this track. Has started four times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. PLUMBAGO PARK (6) produced a reasonable effort when second last start over 1000m at this track, beaten half a length. That followed a win at Turffontein Inside the start prior. Finds a suitable race and can return to the winner's circle. TEMPRANILLO (7) registered a strong win two runs ago then turned in a nice run last time out when sixth over 1000m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. Worth another chance.
