Not much early pressure but Weissklee, Sakura Vigueur and Crimson Red can take up forward spots. WEISSKLEE (6) returned last time with a solid third at Sonoda over 1400m after being in the firing line on the turn. Nicely placed to play a major role. SAKURA VIGUEUR (10) finds it hard to win with two victories from 20 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1400m at Sonoda, beaten 6 lengths. Hard to beat in this suitable race. CRIMSON RED (2) is a consistent performer with two minor placings from three starts this time in work. Was in the firing line all the way and finished 1.5 lengths from the winner in third last start over 1400m at Sonoda. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. TOMOJA EVE (5) finished 12 lengths away in tenth at his last appearance over 1400m at Sonoda on January 8 after he gave away a big start. Worth plenty of thought.
