Scored a tough win over this trip at Wyong at his second career start last August. Fitted with the two 1050m trials and finds a winnable race. OHTANI (6) showing a bit more consistency this prep and winning rider hops back aboard. Drifted back in the slowly run contest when running on late to secure fourth over 1600m at Nowra. Can race closer here and play a leading role. MAH ALI (5) tough mare due for a change of luck. Deep into the prep and comes out of a strong rating contest when third at Kembla Grange. Value prospect. AURA (9) at her top for this and had excuses from the draw in a slowly run contest when fourth over 1550m at Randwick Kensington in BM64 class. Well drawn and gets a better set up today.
