VINA HOI AN (6) returns from a layoff of four months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1400m at Sonoda. Should be hard to stop. BOLERO OF SORROW (3) is a 29-start maiden struggling to break through but does look to be edging closer, the latest effort a solid fourth over 1700m at Sonoda. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. TO THE HEROINE (1) resumes. Didn't make an impact at her only run last prep on September 26, finishing 12th and beaten 23 lengths over 820m at Sonoda. Backmarker who gets home hard. Don't underestimate.
