Strong tempo primarily from Princess Halo, Oakeys Choice and Kattegat over Panic and Flying Impala. FLYING IMPALA (7) demolished his rivals by a big space two-back, then came to town when a fading on-pace last over 1200m at Randwick in BM78 class. Winning apprentice hops back aboard and will prove hard to catch from the good gate. VELLA FOX (2) kept fresh for this after having genuine excuses when seventh from the outside gate over 1200m at Canberra. Has a good set of figures at this track and not without each way claims. CANI CANCAN (5) totally outclassed on the heavy (8) track when sixth over 1000m at Kembla Grange in the G3 Warra. Assess on her fast finishing second to Bremel two starts back. Leading player. PRINCESS HALO (6) failed to handle the jump to city grade when a tiring on-pace fifth over 1100m at Canterbury. Can turn things around with the claim from the low draw. FOURTH SPARGO (4) scored a long overdue win at Kembla second-up and stays in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Flying Impala should get the job done.
