SOME AMERICAN (7) gave a sight in a higher-graded race first-up, leading and sticking on for fourth. That was his first time out of the top-three in five tries at this distance. He draws wide but will be improved and is a Breeders Crown winner at this circuit so looks suited in this company. ITS CONFIDENTIAL (6) was a beaten favourite in Sydney last start but still boxed on okay to place. Had kicked off his campaign with a win at this circuit prior, taking his record at the distance to seven from nine. Big chance. JUSTALITTLESIP (8) put the writing on the wall with a placing two back then hit his peak and delivered here last time. Draws for a trail and could go on with it. JILLIBYJACKSPARROW (9) hasn't raced since the Kilmore Cup last September but was readied with a trial win so keep safe. SURFINGMAKESCENTS (5) is suited back in distance having scored in two of her three attempts at it here.
