SILVER PISTOL (12) did some work to find the front before going on to to score by 3.2m at this circuit first up. Kept fresh since but won his only try at this shorter distance. With even luck from his back row draw he can deliver again. Stablemate FOX DAN (11) also draws on the second line and hasn't raced since he was runner-up to Silver Pistol when resuming. He'll enjoy the drop to a distance where he has won four of five attempts so could turn the tables. FORTY LOVE (10) has had eight weeks off since a close second when resuming but has been kept up to the mark with an easy trial win. JILLIBY ILLUMINATE (8) looks close to a win after placing in her last two starts here. Came from wider on this row both times and draws for a nice trail tonight.
