B T CAPTIVATE (9) was a beaten favourite on debut but the effort had merit, coming from a wide barrier to go under by just a head at this circuit and distance. Draws on the back line but is open to natural improvement so can go one better with even luck. BARBER SHOP (1) progressed off a fresh placing to come from the back line and beat B T Captivate last start. That took his record at this circuit and distance to two wins and a placing from three attempts. The ace draw could see him deliver again. ALWAYS BETTOR (4) is another that came from the back line to kick off his career with a win at this venue and distance. Could take the next step. MORIKAWA (5) is in the mix having produced two solid efforts since a debut win.
