Strong pace from Five Down and Happy As Larry matching motors with Digital Miss close at hand. Competitive. FIVE DOWN (3) resumes off a crack at the G2 WA Guineas over a mile. Brought strong Ascot form to that over this distance and has trialled well for the return. Winning rider Chris Parnham is reunited and no surprise to see him presented forward. Will go close if he is. MAJOR MARIO (4) went close first-up and then ran his best race narrowly beaten at Ascot. Fitter again and won't have to improve much to go close. MORE THAN ENUFF (1) was spelled over the deserved Maiden win over this distance and resumed with a solid placing on the Scarpside. He has the outside gate but will push forward and has more to give. CRIMMO (2) is third-up and back in grade. The former Victorian rates well and should have the early speed to manage the awkward barrier. SUGGESTED PLAY: Five Down if the betting suggests stable confidence.
