OUR SPECIAL MEMORY (2) finished second last start, beaten 12 metres at Menangle over 1609m. Talented and has plenty of upside. Sure to enjoy an economical run from this draw. Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role. NEXT TO ME (3) drew wide last start and was safely held, beaten 17 metres into seventh at this track over 2030m. Finds a tougher race, but from a far better starting position, a win is not out of the question. JOHN MCLEAN (7) has been thereabouts of late and is a great chance to break through. Good effort last time out when he finished third at Menangle over 1609m. BEANCOUNTER (4) is the best of the rest after finishing runner-up over 1609m at this track last time out.
