Strong early tempo with Grell and Meisho Benibana to lead the way over King Bullseyes and Japonism. KING BULLSEYES (8) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 10 starts. Was again denied last start when he found one better over 1400m at this track. Placed to advantage and can make his presence felt. A SHIN HEMERA (6) has been in the market at her last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest fifth at this track over 1400m. Among the leading chances. MEISHO BENIBANA (10) improved last time out, finishing 30 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1400m at this track after being prominent at the bend. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. A SHIN KENRAN (1) ran a better race last start, finishing 4.5 lengths away in fourth over 1400m at this track. No surprise to see her in contention.
