SUN NOBLE (4) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when third over this track and trip when he was handy all the way. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. MEINER TIMELY (5) went to the lead from the low draw last time out and was still there on straightening, eventually finishing second here. Well-placed and should be tough to rein in again. CHEERING SONG (9) turned in a fine effort to win by half a length at this track and distance last start in a far better run. Likely to be there at the finish again. T M SINISTER (2) has not won for a long while. Last raced on December 7 when fifth. Suitably placed so anticipating a better performance.
