SIU MA SHAN HANDICAP 1800m Track: GOOD
The speedy trio Forever Glorious, Dragon Star and Satirical Glory can set the pace from the outset. DRAGON STAR (1) has been racing well without winning of late and now gets a big jockey upgrade with Purton in the saddle. He draws a much better gate this time too as he steps up to 1800m. Can find the front with ease and take plenty of catching over the longer journey. FOREVER GLORIOUS (3) disappointed last time out after a big effort over this course and distance two back. He's 32 days between runs without a trial, but this looks a similar set up to his effort two starts ago and he's expected to be in the thick of the finish once again. SATIRICAL GLORY (2) jumped the equal favourite 10 days ago and finished 3.5L off the winner. It's a long time between drinks for him but he appears to have his hoof on the till and Bowman sticking with the galloper is a good sign. Can feature again. COURIER MAGIC (6) showed his win two back was no fluke when he won again last start. Racing well and merits plenty of respect.
