Strong pace with Noborifuji kicking up while Nishino Magnolia also works forward. REPUNIT (5) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten 0.8 lengths, over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Will give a great sight this longer journey. MEINER AURANTIA (14) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. COOL CHANGE (4) has not raced since his debut back on October 19 when he finished fifth over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Much better draw for fresh-up run. Likely to feature.NOBORIFUJI (1) did little and finished 11 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt last start after being prominent at the turn, a less impressive effort than his fourth on debut at Tokyo Dirt the run before. Nicely placed to break the maiden status.
