Small field but Miss Hannigan, Gimmealight and Andi's Girl can ensure a genuine tempo. GIMMEALIGHT (2) showed some signs of a form return in her last start over 1450m on the Classic course. She has dropped in the ratings and takes a drop in class. Kabelo Matsunyane is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her when it matters most. NATIONAL STAR (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1450m at this track when finishing sixth. Tackling a more suitable race this time and rates well as a major player. MISS HANNIGAN (1) was an easy winner of her last start over 1450m on the Classic course. She takes a rise in class but is in a good space and should have a say in the outcome of this contest. ANDI'S GIRL (3) challenged strongly in her last start when resuming from a spell but found one too good on the day. She would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. Muzi Yeni is booked to ride and she can finish in the placings.
