Genuine tempo from Montecito leading Dianasaal. DIANASAAL (11) is yet to miss the placings in four starts, including three wins. Last appeared when he scored over 1600m at Chukyo on August 3. Should be poised just off the lead. Looks the one to run down. WIN TWILIGHT (9) saluted when resuming last start at Tokyo over this distance after she was a fair way off the leaders on the turn. Boasts excellent form at today's trip with three wins from three starts. Sure to feature. TAISEI CURRENT (2) wound up strongly in the run home last start to register an impressive win over 1400m at Tokyo. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and two minor placings from six outings. Has to be respected. SMART WEISS (12) improved last start when second-up but found one better over 1400m at Kyoto, beaten only a neck. Likely to hold the form and is a strong top-three prospect.
